Kon-Tiki

In 1947, Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl sets out to prove his controversial theory that Polynesia could have been settled by people from South America. Despite his fear of water and inability to swim, he gathers a crew of five men and embarks on a daring expedition across the Pacific Ocean aboard a primitive wooden raft named Kon-Tiki. With limited equipment and no modern navigation systems, the men face dangerous storms, sharks, and the immense challenges of the open sea during their 101-day voyage. Based on a true story, the film portrays an extraordinary journey of courage, determination, and the pursuit of scientific discovery.
